While there are tons of website building platforms available for you today. I truly like the features and "drag and drop" functionality of Wix. Yes, Wix had brought a new ease in building not only beginner sites, but beautiful websites worthy of any business.
I've seen some reviews say that Wix is only for small business and personal websites but that isn't really true. Just because Wix allows you to build a website with little or no experience, and that it doesn't require you to learn any programing language, doesn't mean it can't do large business websites.
With more than 100 million users around the world, Wix has gotten pretty advanced in its capabilities.
Some of the earlier issues Wix had are all part the past now. SEO or Search Engine Optimization is now up to par with the rest. In the beginning Wix was heavily based on Java and Flash to make it run and that hampered the SEO aspects of Wix. Today those issues are all gone.
